Ripley Residential Development Project, 187-197 Binnies Road, Ripley, Queensland (EPBC 2024-09865)
The following notice is published pursuant to section 95B(4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
HB QLD Pty Ltd is seeking approval under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) to develop a residential community at 187-197 Binnies Road, Ripley, Queensland (EPBC 2024-09865).
The proposed development was determined a controlled action under the EPBC Act with assessment by Preliminary Documentation. The controlling provisions are listed threatened species and communities (sections 18 and 18A of the EPBC Act), including the Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) (combined populations of QLD, NSW and ACT) and Grey-headed Flying-fox (Pteropus poliocephalus).
Public comments on the Preliminary Documentation for the proposed action were sought for a period of 10 business days Wednesday 18th of March 2026 to Wednesday 1st April 2026. A total of one (1) comment was received.
A copy of the Preliminary Documentation and a response to comments received is available for public viewing for a period of 10 business days from Tuesday 28th April to Tuesday 12th May 2026. Hard copies of the Preliminary Documentation will be available at each of the following locations:
