Blue Rock Quarry Expansion Project, Tamaree Road, Cedar Creek, Queensland 4207 (EPBC 2024-09844)
The following notice is published pursuant to section 95B(4) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
Fulton Hogan Quarries Pty Ltd is seeking approval under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) for a quarry expansion at Tamaree Road, Cedar Creek, QLD 4207 (EPBC 2024-09844).
The proposed action was determined a controlled action under the EPBC Act with assessment by Preliminary Documentation. The controlling provisions are listed threatened species and communities (sections 18 and 18A of the EPBC Act), including the Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) (combined populations of QLD, NSW and ACT) and Macadamia Nut (Macadamia integrifolia).
Public comments on the Preliminary Documentation for the proposed action were sought for a period of 10 business days Monday 30th March 2026 to Wednesday 15th April 2026. No submissions were received.
Hard copies of the Preliminary Documentation will be available for viewing only for a period of 10 business days from Tuesday 28th April to Tuesday 12th May 2026 at each of the following locations:
