Stephen joined Saunders Havill Group in 2016 with over 18 years surveying experience. His expertise in the field of cadastral surveying is diverse and he has been involved in numerous projects across Queensland including residential and commercial estates, sub-divisions and town house developments in the southeast of the State to mining leases, large-scale rural sub-divisions, easement surveys and gas well and borehole surveys in Central and Northern Queensland.
Stephen has extensive experience with topographic surveys, GNSS control surveys, construction set out, road corridor boundaries and as constructed surveys.
Stephen has considerable experience with large rural cadastral surveys throughout Queensland. He has conducted many surveys for the purpose of reinstating boundaries of large rural land parcels for the purpose of land resumptions for road and rail corridors, easements for service providers and mining leases. Stephen has expertise in identifying historical survey marks and carrying out surveys to define previously un-surveyed land parcels.
Stephen is typically involved in projects from the initial enquiry through to the preparation of final survey plans. He has experience with ensuring all bio-security requirements are complied with, liaison with all stakeholders including landholders, clients and relevant government departments, carrying out all aspects of field surveys, performing all survey calculations, preparation of the final survey plans and delivery of final survey data.
Some examples of Stephen’s experience include: easement surveys from Nebo to Peak Downs for high voltage powerlines, Surveys for the resumption of land for the Moura Link rail corridor between Moura and Gladstone, surveys for the resumption of land for a proposed coal rail corridor from Alpha to Townsville, surveys for the creation of access easements at various sites for service providers at Fairview South, Eurumbah, Clifford Creek and Condabri, large rural surveys for mining leases at Newlands, Broughton, Isaac Plains, Lake Vermont, Foxleigh, Lake Lindsay, Bluff and Meteor Downs, rural boundary surveys at Inglewood, Texas, Killarney, Warwick, Swanfels, Maroon and Esk.
