Murray's academic and professional career has always focused on the consultancy role within the development process. He brings a balanced approach of private and public sector technical experience to the resolution of complex environmental and landscape issues increasingly common in development projects.
Initially working purely within the landscape architecture field delivering services of master planning, construction detailing, revegetation, site assessment and other council related landscape requirements, Murray has used his studies to broaden into landscape and environmental planning fields.
Murray has extensive experience in assessing environmental components of most major developments including master planned communities, golf courses, quarries, forestry applications and a range of industrial, commercial and residential projects. These assessments have included vegetation, habitat, storm water, erosion, landscape amenity, species selection and coastal management issues.
As the manager of both our Environmental Management and Landscape Architecture sections, Murray's breadth of experience, qualifications, and management and leadership skills have assisted to make these disciplines leaders in their fields.
In 2010, Murray took on a new role as Director of Saunders Havill Group.
