Mark joined the Saunders Havill Group team in 2009. Mark is passionate about enabling SHG's employees to learn, thrive and deliver their best work. As Business Manager, Mark leads the company's administrative and support team, and implements company strategy and direction in conjunction with SHG's directors.
Mark is tertiary qualified in the field of human resources, and coordinates all of SHG's people management. SHG's people are of central importance to the success of its business. Mark's expertise and wisdom in managing its workforce is critical in facilitating the success of its people, and enabling them to grow both personally and professionally.
Mark solely manages the company's complex ICT systems. SHG's systems have been developed to facilitate workflows remotely both easily and accessibly from all of the locations the company works at, including when employees are on the road or located at one of the branch offices at Springfield or Rockhampton. Mark is highly attuned to and implements cutting edge technologies to ensure SHG's deliverables are produced efficiently and are of superior quality to its competitors.
In conjunction with SHG's Compliance Officer, Mark coordinates the Integrated Management System, covering safety, health, environment and quality assurance. Mark spearheaded the company's initial external certification efforts, and through his stewardship SHG now holds ISO 9001 certification for quality, ISO 14001 certification for environment, and AS/NZS 4801 certification for health and safety.
