Lewis McKee

Regional Manager, Central Queensland

Curriculum Vitae

Lewis is a tertiary qualified and Planning Institute of Australia accredited Urban and Regional Planner from Central Queensland.

His experience to date includes involvement within the local government sector and consulting firms in both the Central and South East Queensland Regions.

Lewis has demonstrated exceptional leadership in roles held previously, coordinating the preparation, lodgement and management of a range of projects of differing scales. These included applications for a number of development activities, including mining, industry, commercial, residential, mixed use and master planned communities over numerous Local Government Areas in Queensland.

Lewis also has demonstrated experience in statutory planning, community development and community engagement. Evidence of this lies in his involvement in the community consultation process for two Environmental Impact Statement projects - the Great Keppel Island Revitalisation Plan and the Fitzroy Terminal Project.

Lewis has a great passion for development, extending from greenfield sites to the rejuvenation of urban areas. His specific connections to financing, banking and property professionals within the industry have resulted in a keen interest in commercial, residential and industrial property sales and the provision of development advice to clients regarding site development potential prior to purchase.

It is his approachability, expert knowledge of local, state and federal legislation and his detailed understanding of the CQ region that have resulted in successful and favourable outcomes for his previous clients.

As a Central Queensland resident, Lewis's greatest passion is working with both local government and stakeholders to improve the livability and prosperity of the CQ community as it grows towards an increasingly exciting future.
