SHG Regional – New Direction for Central Queensland

Since opening Emerald and Gladstone offices in 2011, Saunders Havill Group has assisted clients deliver some of Central Queensland’s most successful infrastructure and development projects.

Building upon this success, it is now our great pleasure to share with you the news that SHG’s is continuing our investment and growth strategy in the Central Queensland region with the appointment of a new Regional Manager, Mr Lewis McKee.

Lewis is a tertiary qualified and Planning Institute of Australia accredited Urban and Regional Planner, and brings a great mix of experience, energy and the SHG customer service values to his new role. Lewis’s role will be to manage and oversee Saunders Havill Group’s Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Management services in CQ and play a hands on role in Planning, Urban Design and Project Management services.

Lewis has previously held positions in both local government and consulting firms in the Central Queensland and South East Queensland Regions and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.

Lewis was raised in Rockhampton and has a large extended family scattered throughout the region. It is for this reason that Lewis’s greatest passion is working with both local government, businesses and community stakeholders to improve the livability and prosperity of the CQ region as it grows towards an increasingly exciting future.

Lewis is able to call upon an extensive local network to assist Saunders Havill Group’s clients navigate their projects through the numerous Local Government Areas of Central Queensland. His interest in providing high quality development outcomes to achieve the overall improvement and rejuvenation of the urban landscape is second to none. His close ties to the CQ Community and direct connections with government representatives and professionals within the region is certain to benefit SHGs existing and future clients.

Lewis is also involved in a number of community groups and clubs, including the Rockhampton Grammar School Past Students’ Association, Rotary Club of Rockhampton Sunrise and the Rockhampton CBD Revitalisation Committee.
