Mirvac Greater Flagstone Project

Notification for Publication of Final Preliminary Documentation under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

The following notice is published pursuant to Section 95B(2) of the EPBC Act

Mirvac Queensland Pty Limited is seeking approval to develop a residential development at Teviot Road, in the Greater Flagstone Priority Development Area, Greenbank, Queensland; (EPBC Act Ref: 2016/7817).

The proposed action was determined a Controlled Action under the EPBC Act with a Preliminary Documentation level of assessment. The controlling provision is ‘Listed threatened species and communities’ (Sections 18 and 18A), specifically Phascolarctos cinereus (Koala) and Pteropus poliocephalus (Grey-headed Flying-fox).

Public comments were sought between the 5th April 2019 and 18th April 2019. Nine submissions were received. Issues raised in the submissions have been addressed by a covering memo to the Mirvac Greater Flagstone Project, Greenbank, Queensland – EPBC Act Preliminary Documentation Submission.

The period for public comment has now closed. Copies of the final Preliminary Documentation Submission and covering memo will be available without charge for a period of 10 business days from Friday 21st June to Thursday 4th July 2019, for information purposes, at each of the following locations:
